Pre, Post and Optional Conference Activities

COMMUNITY CONNECTION TOUR  SOLD OUT
We have worked with Kildonan Uniting Care in Shepparton to arrange a pre conference experience, “ The Settlement Journey”. It will provide delegates with a first hand understanding of the journey that many in our community have experienced in settling and becoming Australians.

If you would like to attend this on the Thursday afternoon, please register by emailing us including your name/s and club.

These tours are free but for a limited number only and need to be pre booked. Registrations close on Friday March 10 or earlier if fully booked. More details of when and where will be advised and included on the website once they are finalised.

LEADERSHIP LUNCH   SOLD OUT
The conference will provide a great professional development opportunity for those delegates in early and mid career. However we are also provided a limited opportunity for people who want more - a working lunch on Friday featuring an “on the couch session” with Deputy Commissioner Andrew Crisp of Victoria Police.

He and Warwick Cavell, a leading business strategist, will discuss strategic leadership and managing change. Once again numbers are limited to a maximum of 50 people and registrations are essential. Register by emailing us including your name/s and Club. Bookings are needed by March 10 at the latest.

CELLAR DOOR AND CORREA WALK AT TALLIS WINERY
Tallis Wine have invited delegates to visit the cellar door before or after the conference and have offered discounts on purchases. The cellar door is open from 10am to 3pm on Thursday and 11am to 5pm on Friday to Sunday. More details can be found at talliswine.com.au

There is a good walking trail from the cellar door at Tallis that gives spectacular views of north east Victoria. The page address is www.talliswine.com.au/our-walking-track/ . The walk is open at the same time as the cellar door.

HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR OF SHEPPARTON SOLD OUT
We have arranged for a one hour historical walking tour of Shepparton leaving at 3pm from the Visitor Centre at 33 Nixon Street, Shepparton.

The terrain of the walk is flat and I therefore don’t envisage any restrictions/limitations.

Numbers are restricted to 15 please register by emailing us by the 10th March.
